About the teamAbout the Anti-Dumping Commission
We are Australia's trade remedies authority - the Anti-Dumping Commission. The commission is responsible for undertaking investigations into allegations of unfair international trade practices involving goods entering Australia and administering Australia's anti-dumping legislation. These investigations seek to deliver a level playing field for industry. Professionalism, excellence and independence underpins the commission's world-class reputation.

Previous Executive Assistant (EA) experience is not required if the ideal candidate has the right attitude, personality, and approach.

What you will doExecutive assistance
- secretariat for decision-making bodies (e.g. coordination of papers, agendas, minutes, and directly liaising with branch heads, directors and staff.
- provide executive secretarial and administrative support to the Commissioner including arranging meetings, email and diary management.
- manage deadlines and clearances, on behalf of the Commissioner, using judgement to prioritise and ensure timely adherence to timeframes.
- play a leadership role to the administrative support team across the ADC.
- build and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholder on behalf of the Commission in line with the APS Values and Code of Conduct and relevant departmental policies.
- work collaboratively across the executive team and the commission to support the Commissioner as required.
- coordinate and prepare correspondence and briefing material as required
Additional responsibilities may include:
- support the implementation and management of project and program activities
- build technical expertise that contributes to business unit outcomes
- undertake research and analysis
- network across the department and APS, including having a high level of communication with Senior Executives and the Executive Support Team.
To be eligible for employment in the APS and the department, candidates must be Australian Citizens.
Positions require a Baseline security clearance and successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
