As a Research Fellow in the Pask lab, you'll have the opportunity to lead innovative research on endocrine disruptors and their effects on reproductive functions. You'll apply your expertise in molecular biology, cell culture, and genetic manipulation techniques to generate modified cell lines and develop cutting-edge models. Working collaboratively, you'll design experiments, analyse data, and contribute to high-impact publications, advancing your career in a dynamic research environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct Innovative Research: Design and execute experiments using advanced genetic manipulation techniques, including CRISPR, to study endocrine disruptors' impact on reproduction.

  • Manage Research Projects: Lead collaborative teams, oversee experimental design, and ensure timely completion of research objectives .

  • Contribute to Scientific Knowledge: Analyse data, prepare manuscripts for publication, and present findings at scientific meetings and conferences.

  • Mentor and Supervise: Guide and train students and junior researchers, fostering a collaborative and productive research environment.

You may be a great fit if:

You are a skilled molecular biologist with a PhD and expertise in genetic manipulation techniques, demonstrating a strong publication record and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.

You may also:

  • Hold a PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, or a related field.

  • Have demonstrable experience in construct design and genetic manipulation techniques.

  • Possess expertise in maintaining multiple cell lines and conducting immunofluorescence and confocal microscopy.

  • Demonstrate a strong aptitude for independent research with a solid publication record.

  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
