About the Role

As an Assistant Manager your role is to partner with the Relationship Manager to support your portfolio in all aspects of customer service, compliance, processes, systems, and governance.

Role Location: Unit 102, 12 Stewart Avenue, Newcastle West NSW 2302

Role Type: 12-month Secondment opportunity

Work Schedule: Full Time

What will your day look like?

As an Assistant Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

Support our Relationship Managers in making banking easier for customers, providing customer solutions, and insights,

Conduct financial analysis and develop and implement appropriate customer strategies,

Establish and maintain a professional profile in the market and maintain an understanding of the customer's industry and associated markets,

Work collaboratively with other internal work functions and stakeholders, and

Demonstrate living the ANZ Values with customers and colleagues.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Maintaining a well-managed portfolio compliant with all relevant policies and procedures

Maintaining control of workflows across all compliance and customer fulfilment process

Acting in the best interest of the customer and apply a customer-centric approach

Proactively developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of customer business and financial needs

Providing solution towards account maintenance and simple customer requests

Supporting the Relationship Manager with management of a portfolio of SME customers

Collaborating with Product Partners and other stakeholders to fulfil customers' needs

Engaging specialist teams when required
