Sydney-based hospitality group Liquid & Larder is searching for an important addition to the team at Bar Julius, a casual dedicated Kitchen Porter.

About The Venue:

Located in Sydney's Redfern, on the fringe of Surry Hills and Redfern's creative hub, The EVE sits at the heart of a new lifestyle precinct, Wunderlich Lane, and will feature a rooftop restaurant and bar, poolside dining, lobby bar and dining, as well as an in-room dining service all under Liquid & Larder's remit as the hotel's exclusive hospitality partner.

Bar Julius is The Eve's European-inspired lobby bar. A welcoming and vibrant hub that caters to every taste—open early and up late, from caffeine to cocktails served alongside all-day bistro classics.It's a place for our guests to settle in and reset in this nostalgic bar

About The Roles:

To thrive in our team, you'll need to be consistent, self-assured, and ready to take on a hands-on role. Attention to detail and a positive work attitude are essential as we deliver an exceptional fast paced dining experience.

Prior experience in a bustling, energetic kitchen is preferred, along with a keen eye for detail to ensure the consistent quality of our offerings. This will be mostly day services, offering 25 – 30 hours a week with the opportunity to learn new skills.

Keep dishes, pots, and pans sparkling clean

Stay on top of rubbish and recycling

Keep the kitchen safe, tidy, and ready to roll

Jump in to help chefs and the team when needed

End the shift with a spotless kitchen

Bonding with your team

About You:

Proven experience in a kitchen porter role

A confident and calm demeanour

A genuine passion for hospitality and teamwork

High attention to detail

Strong organisational and communication skills

Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends, mornings and evenings
