What is the role?
As the Venue Manager, you will be the driving force behind our Charlotte Street venue's success. Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Leading and supporting the Head Barista, Head Chef and other staff to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Managing Costs of Goods Sold (COGS) and Costs of Employment (COE) to optimise profitability.

Conducting monthly Profit and Loss reviews to identify areas for improvement and meet financial goals.

Exemplifying outstanding customer service, setting the standard for your team, and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.

Handling customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.

Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.

Training and mentoring staff to maintain high performance standards.

Coordinating with relevant stakeholders to promote the venue and increase patronage.
Who are we looking for?
As well as having an energetic and warm personality, you will possess:

Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry is essential.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
-
Excellent understanding of financial management, including P&L, COGS, and COE.

Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to providing an elevated dining experience.
-
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
-
Barista experience and strong knowledge of coffee.
-
Unrestricted availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays where necessary.

Must have or be willing to obtain a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate & Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
