About the College

Founded in 1980, Christian College Geelong is a K-12 school where academic achievement is balanced with care and concern for each student's character development and wellbeing, grounded in the Christian faith. We have five campuses across Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast region as well as a rural experience for Year 9 students at an expansive farm property in Scotsburn, near Ballarat, and a unique Art, Technology and Design campus for Senior School students in Waurn Ponds.

The Role

Christian College Geelong is looking for two enthusiastic and qualified Kindergarten Teachers to join our team commencing 22 January 2026. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early years education, a love for working with young children, and a commitment to fostering their academic and personal growth.

Fixed Term, Part Time position: 3-Year-Old Kindergarten Teacher

• For the period 22 January 2026 to 11 December 2026
• 22.5hrs per week (Time Fraction/FTE 0.592)

Ongoing, Part Time: 4-Year-Old Kindergarten Teacher

• Commencing 22 January 2026
• 27.5hrs per week (Time Fraction/FTE

As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, and National Quality Standards
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
• Always uphold and promote child safe standards and practices
• Observe and document children's learning and development
• Collaborate with the team to continuously improve our programs and practices

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Current VIT registration
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
• Demonstrated understanding of child development and early learning pedagogy
• Commitment to child safety, wellbeing and inclusion
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A warm, energetic and professional approach
• Alignment with the Christian values and ethos of our College
