OOSH Educator

About the Role

We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic OOSH Educator to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for supervising and engaging children aged 5–12 in fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise children during After School Care Hours
• Plan and implement engaging activities
• Documentation such as learning stories, journals and planning cycle
• Maintain a safe and positive environment
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and staff
• Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and compliance regulations (NQF, NQS, My Time Our Place)

About You

• Genuine passion for working with children
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
• Reliable, flexible, and proactive
• Experience in OOSH or a similar setting is a plus, but not essential

Requirements

• Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management certificates (or willingness to obtain)
• Knowledge of My Time Our Place Framework (preferred)
• Must hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $24.62 – $39.88 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
