This hands-on position will have overall responsibility for the day to day operations of the factory.

The applicant must have experience in a supervisory role in an aluminium manufacturing facility, be able to read & understand detailed work orders. Must possess working knowledge of the manufacturing process and have a good understanding of construction techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently managing the daily activities and tasks of manufacturing staff, ensuring the required resources are available
  • Reviewing manufacturing schedules
  • Allocation of PPE to manufacturing staff
  • Ensuring all manufacturing staff are adequately trained, competent and hold the appropriate licenses where required
  • Ensuring quality is maintained throughout the manufacturing process
  • Ensuring OH&S policies and procedures are adhered to within the manufacturing area
  • Building & maintaining a good rapport with all stakeholders
  • Adhoc duties as required

  • Glazing experience using AWS systems
  • Experience using CNC machine
  • Constructions White Card
  • Forklift ticket
  • MR Licence
