About the role

We are seeking an experienced Shed Builder to join our growing team at JBZ Building Pty Ltd in Coffs Harbour, NSW. As a Shed Builder, you will be responsible for the construction and installation of high-quality sheds and other outdoor structures for our residential and commercial clients. This is a full-time position that will involve both on-site and off-site work.

What you'll be doing

  1. Interpreting and following construction plans and specifications to build sheds, carports, and other outdoor structures
  2. Measuring, cutting, and assembling steel, timber, and other materials to construct the desired structures
  3. Installing foundations, flooring, walls, roofs, and any additional features or accessories
  4. Ensuring all work meets industry standards and local building codes
  5. Communicating with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on project progress
  6. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment throughout the construction process

What we're looking for

  1. Several years of experience as a Shed Builder or in a similar construction role
  2. Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and building codes
  3. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications
  4. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools required for shed construction
  5. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  6. Good communication and customer service skills
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  8. Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work
