The role

We are seeking a Casual Groundsman to join our team at Mona Vale Golf Club. As a Casual Groundsman, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the pristine condition of our renowned golf course and surrounding grounds. This is a casual position, offering an opportunity to work in a picturesque outdoor environment.

Key responsibilities

  1. Perform general grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming lawns and gardens
  2. Assist with the care and upkeep of the golf course playing surfaces, including bunkers, tees, fairways, and greens
  3. Operate and maintain various grounds keeping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
  4. Support the grounds team with tasks like litter picking, leaf blowing, and other general landscaping duties
  5. Ensure the golf course and surrounding areas are presented to the highest standard at all times

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a similar grounds maintenance or landscaping role, preferably in a golf course setting
  2. Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of grounds keeping equipment
  3. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation
  4. A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with the grounds team
  5. The physical fitness and stamina to perform outdoor, manual labour tasks for extended periods
