Dealership Accountant

Autosports Group is Australia's largest prestige and luxury automotive retails group employing approximately 2000 people across 75 dealerships nationally. Our group is now seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Head Office team in Leichhardt, Sydney.

This is a great role for someone with a high attention to detail looking for a busy and varied role with a great team.

Key responsibilities:

• Vehicle sales processing and reporting
• Prepare with month end reporting
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Daily banking and customer refunds/payouts
• Manufacturer monthly reporting
• Year End reporting requirement
• Responsible for accurately reporting information in financial reports, as well providing required information for statutory reporting to government and regulatory bodies.
• Constructing budgets reports and making recommendations to management on how to reduce
  
  costs, increase revenue in order to meet budget targets.
• Ad hoc administration tasks.

Key requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years Accountant experience
• Previous Motor Dealer experience is essential
• CA or CPA highly advantageous
• Strong communication skills
• Intermediate to Advanced computer skills with MS Excel, Office, accounting software and databases
• To be able to meet strict deadlines and to be able to multi-task
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
• The ability to prioritise your workload
• Era/Pentana experience would be an advantage
