We are committed to understanding our clients, and delivering insights and creative solutions, to drive sustainable business growth.Do Work That MattersAs a Senior Associate you are a core member of a relationship management team and you will work closely with the Relationship Executives, Risk Executives, Senior Management and Clients to provide value add solutions.You will develop a comprehensive database of industry specific information as well as ideas and solutions to support our highly valued clientele. This entails undertaking financial modelling and analysis and assessing the risks/opportunities on new lending, as well as assessing the risks associated with increases in client credit.We're looking for a Senior Associate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to drive the credit process.More specificallyYou will structure and clearly articulate the credit merits of transactions as well as identify and mitigate key risks. You will write, negotiate and manage credit applications, undertaking due diligence, financial modelling, risk analysis and ESG assessments. In addition to this you will manage the portfolio's data quality, compliance and daily reporting requirements and undertake analysis of client and industry specific information focusing on the key financial drivers of each client in order to effectively meet their needs. You will identify, research and compile information and complete credit submissions and annual reviews to ensure timely delivery of decisions, documentation and funding to the client and the accuracy of information on source systems. You will prepare pitch packs, complex papers and discussion white papers, proactively manage the portfolios pipeline and focus on quality.We want to hear from you if youAre self-driven with strong work ethics and with proven ability to operate across a wide variety of industries and large complex transactionsHave strong commercial acumen and experience in understanding the operational drivers of a business and how they relate to the financial drivers of that businessAre able to quickly grasp complex transactions and analyse specific client circumstances while maintaining a risk & compliance mindsetHave excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationshipsAre able to function independently and as a part of a teamHave relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or a CA/CPA/CFA qualificationPrior experience with mining services, healthcare or diversified industries will be looked upon favourablyIt is your attitude that will determine your altitude, you will learn from the best and see your career soar high.
