Job Description Summary
As a Sustainability Strategy Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering impactful environmental and sustainability services across key client accounts. You'll be the go-to expert for sustainability initiatives, driving improvement programs, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring projects meet environmental targets and compliance standards.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Lead and coordinate Sustainability Improvement Programs, including environmental reporting and initiative management
- Identify and implement innovative environmental improvement strategies
- Manage project delivery, budgets, timelines, and reporting against milestones
- Prepare environmental reports aligned with client and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with industry bodies, government agencies, and utility providers
- Act as the primary sustainability contact for integrated facilities management clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to foster a culture of safety, learning, and continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
- Strong research, analytical, and technical writing skills
- Knowledge of environmental/energy legislation (e.g. NGERS) is desirable
- Self-starter with sound judgment and autonomy
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Strong planning, organisational, and presentation abilities
- Skilled negotiator with influencing capabilities
- Basic commercial acumen
