Job Description Summary

As a Sustainability Strategy Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering impactful environmental and sustainability services across key client accounts. You'll be the go-to expert for sustainability initiatives, driving improvement programs, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring projects meet environmental targets and compliance standards.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and coordinate Sustainability Improvement Programs, including environmental reporting and initiative management
  • Identify and implement innovative environmental improvement strategies
  • Manage project delivery, budgets, timelines, and reporting against milestones
  • Prepare environmental reports aligned with client and regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with industry bodies, government agencies, and utility providers
  • Act as the primary sustainability contact for integrated facilities management clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to foster a culture of safety, learning, and continuous improvement

Skills & Experience

  • Strong research, analytical, and technical writing skills
  • Knowledge of environmental/energy legislation (e.g. NGERS) is desirable
  • Self-starter with sound judgment and autonomy
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong planning, organisational, and presentation abilities
  • Skilled negotiator with influencing capabilities
  • Basic commercial acumen
