The Torquay Hotel is searching for experienced pizza chef to join our established team at our popular holiday venue. The Torquay Hotel is undergoing a second stage of redevelopment.  Situated on the stunning surf coast , only 20 minutes from the Geelong CBD, we aim to set a new standard of service and cuisine at the Torquay Hotel.

We are seeking a gun pizza chef to run our newly developed pizza kitchen, which is part of our refurbished beer garden offering alfresco dining and entertainment area. We will require the successful applicant to be experienced in all aspects of running a pizza kitchen from dough to plate.

When joining our Torquay Hotel kitchen team you will be a part of a locally owned hotel group that consists of Grovedale Hotel, Barwon Heads and Torquay Hotels, which encourages personal development and the potential for career advancement.

Experience in high volume kitchens will be considered an advantage. You will be committed to the hotel over the peak seasons, and will enjoy a great work life balance in this beautiful part of the world.

This position is an on going full-time position.

Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to;

  • Exceptional food quality and food safety knowledge
