As a CAD Designer / Draftsperson, you will play a vital role in our business, translating customers' requirements into full 3D models. Collaborating closely with our Sales, Operations, and Production teams, you will ensure that our products are manufactured to the highest standards, meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients to understand their design ideas and vision.
• Utilise SolidWorks to interpret, edit, and create RV plans based on customer requirements.
• Present initial design drafts, showcasing your blend of technical expertise and aesthetic sensibility.
• Develop final designs by considering various perspectives for assembly.
• Finalise SolidWorks models, meticulously refining every detail.
• Impress clients by confidently presenting your meticulously crafted models.
• Prepare comprehensive job reports, documenting your progress and achievements.
• Maintain clear and prompt communication with customers, meeting internal KPIs.
• Collaborate with our Sales and Production teams to ensure customer requirements are met seamlessly.
• Thrive in continuous improvement projects, actively contributing to our quest for excellence.
• Take initiative to update documentation when changes occur, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct all work with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
• Foster a positive team environment, contributing to good relations and a can-do attitude.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Drafter or in a similar role, showcasing your expertise.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, with a very high level of attention to detail.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling tools, enabling you to bring ideas to life.
• Strong mathematical skills to ensure accuracy in your designs.
• Ability to thrive under deadlines, delivering exceptional results.
• Excellent computer knowledge and problem-solving skills, empowering you to overcome challenges.
• Effective communication skills, enabling you to collaborate seamlessly with team members.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with colleagues.

Education and/or Experience:

• Associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting or equivalent experience, demonstrating your qualifications.
• In-depth knowledge of advanced CAD techniques, showcasing your expertise.
