Laboratory Technician

Silverwater, New South Wales, Australia ADE Consulting Group Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

SLS requires a Laboratory Technician to join our Sydney (Silverwater) NATA accredited Chemical Testing Laboratory to perform testing on soil, water, and air samples in a fast-paced laboratory.

We are looking for a technically oriented person with great attention to detail with at least
2 years' experience
working in a laboratory setting.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

  • Weighing and preparation of samples
  • Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment and instrumentation in accordance with ISO 17025
  • Contribution to the laboratory quality control and quality assurance systems
  • Reporting stock levels of consumables, standards, chemicals etc

Skills And Experience That Are Required

  • Ability to work in team or independently
  • Ability to reason and interpret with good attention to detail and clear record keeping
  • Intermediate or higher in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be Australian Citizen or Permanent resident
