About the role
We are seeking experienced Concrete Finishers to join our team at Harman Concreting in the Lockyer Valley, Queensland. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the finishing and smoothing of concrete surfaces to a high standard. You will play a crucial role in delivering quality projects for our clients. We do a range of commercial, rural and residential works.
What you'll be doing
- Pouring and spreading concrete to specified depths and levels
- Finishing concrete surfaces using trowels, screeds and other tools
- Ensuring a smooth, even and high-quality finish on all concrete work
- Identifying and resolving any issues or defects in the concrete work
- Working closely with the wider construction team to meet project deadlines
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher
- Strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in concreting or construction would be an advantage
- Drivers licence is required
