About the role

As a Pharmacist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering safe, effective, and high-quality pharmacy services that optimise patient care across the hospital. You will be responsible for the organisation, management, and daily operation of your designated pharmacy area, providing expert therapeutic advice and medicines information to patients, medical staff, and fellow health professionals. Your clinical judgement and commitment to excellence will support the best possible outcomes for patients and contribute to the safe and cost-effective use of pharmaceuticals.

Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment, you will apply your professional expertise to ensure that all pharmacy practices align with hospital policies, procedures, and national standards. About You

You are an experienced and motivated Pharmacist who is passionate about delivering high-quality clinical and operational pharmacy services. With a strong professional foundation and demonstrated leadership ability, you bring a balance of technical expertise, sound judgement, and a commitment to continuous improvement in patient care and medication safety.

  • Qualified and Registered: Hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and are registered or eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.

  • Experienced and Skilled: Possess extensive experience in hospital pharmacy practice, with proven leadership, supervisory, or management capability in a complex healthcare environment.

  • Analytical and Solutions-Focused: Demonstrated ability to research, analyse, and interpret data to improve service delivery, supported by strong problem-solving and organisational skills.

  • Collaborative and Communicative: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to educate, train, and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining professional and technical competence.
