About the Role:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join the dedicated team within our Older Persons Mental Health Service.
As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will support clinical excellence while contributing to compassionate, person-centred care in our specialised High Dependency Unit environment.
This position offers the chance to advance your leadership skills in older persons mental health services, working alongside experienced professionals committed to providing quality care and support to our most vulnerable community members.
Key Responsibilities:
- assist the Nurse Unit Manager in daily ward operations and staff coordination
- provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing staff
- ensure high standards of patient care and safety protocols
- support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
- collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
