The Role

We're looking for a Casual Social Media Script Writer who lives and breathes content culture. Someone who can spot trends before they peak, craft relatable scripts that hook in the first 3 seconds, and collaborate with our production team to bring ideas to life.

This is not just writing captions—it's about building stories and formats that trend.

Responsibilities

  • Research and analyse current TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts trends.
  • Generate fresh ideas and create original trends that align with our clients' brands.
  • Write short-form video scripts that are engaging, on-brand, and ready for production.
  • Collaborate with our videographers, editors, and producers to shape storyboards and final delivery.
  • Adapt content to fit different platforms while keeping engagement high.
  • Stay ahead of emerging content formats and algorithm shifts.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong understanding of social media trends, memes, and audience psychology.
  • Proven ability to write short, punchy scripts that feel authentic.
  • Experience in storytelling, copywriting, or content creation (agency/brand side is a bonus).
  • Ability to translate dry/technical topics into relatable, entertaining content.
  • Collaborative mindset—you'll be bouncing ideas with our creative and production teams.
  • Flexible availability to jump on projects as they come up.
