My Local Dentists are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern dental practice that focuses on delivering exceptional patient care. The position is initially offered on a casual basis, with the potential for a permanent position, as we are looking for someone to join our practice for the long term.

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Previous Dental Assisting/Reception experience (preferred) however, candidates with the right attitude will also be considered for the role and training will be provided
  • Strong customer service skills with a patient-focused approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Dentist during dental procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring patient comfort
  • Maintain a clean and sterile treatment environment by following strict infection control protocols
  • Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, organising supplies, and setting up equipment
  • General reception duties; answering phone enquiries/making and confirming appointments and processing payments
  • Working days: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
  • The person will be responsible for doing both Dental assistant and Reception tasks on the quieter days of the week.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term, Casual

Pay: $30.00 – $33.00 per hour
