Applications are invited for the role of Sports Coordinator at Mt St Michael's College.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Mt St Michael's College is a Catholic girls' school of 900 students (Years situated in the leafy avenues of Ashgrove, 5 kms from the CBD. The College maintains a tradition of academic excellence, extensive co-curricular activities, and student wellbeing programs across the College. Mt St Michael's College seeks applications from innovative and dynamic educators who will enthusiastically engage with the educational vision and mission of the College.
The Sports Coordinator will report to the Director of Sport to support the Mt St Michael's College co-curricular sporting program. A strong commitment to both the development of excellence in sport and participation in sport for enjoyment, leisure and health benefits will be essential. A willingness to embrace the College's Positive Education program will be welcomed.
As team support is a vital component of the Sports Program, the Sports Coordinator will contribute to the effectiveness of the team and a positive working environment.
No formal qualification is required however previous coaching and / or sports coordination experience with a background in high level sport as an athlete, coach or administrator would be highly desirable. The College uses The Alpha School System (TASS), and an understanding and experience in the Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint would be well received.

SC1 – Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with College staff, parents, students, sporting organisations and other stakeholders.
SC2 – An understanding of and commitment to the aims of Catholic Education and the mission, vision and values of Mt St Michael's College.
SC3 – Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
SC4 – A commitment to developing excellence in sport and participation.
