We're on the lookout for a confident and proactive HR Advisor to join our HR team. This is a hands-on, full-time role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and isn't afraid to have the tough conversations when it counts.

Please note we do not offer hybrid working arrangements and the role will be required onsite in Geelong full time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for HR queries across our retail network.
  • Support leaders with employee relations matters, including performance management, behavioral concerns, policy compliance and including workcover.
  • Maintain HR systems and records with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Contribute to HR projects including; rolling out online training modules, WHS committees and ongoing process improvement in the HR space.
  • Provide support to the recruitment officer, which may include recruitment administration, interviews and reference checks

About You:

  • 2-3 years of experience in an advisory role.
  • Retail industry experience is highly regarded and strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust quickly with team members at all levels
  • A solution-focused mindset and the ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities
