Skye Restaurant and Bar (Crowne Plaza Sydney Burwood) is seeking a vibrant, dynamic and energetic Bar Manager to join the team and play a part in delivering a memorable experience within one of Sydney's premier rooftop bars

Responsibilities for Bar Manager

  • Attend meetings with management and team regarding operations
  • Source and train staff to best fit the bar's needs
  • Schedule staff in an efficient manner to best cover the demands of the customers
  • Communicate with vendors to assure the appropriate amount of products are on hand for the forecasted demand
  • Resolve all staff conflicts swiftly and properly
  • Assure all transactions and banking are conducted with no variance
  • Work shifts required to meet the needs of the bar. This may include nights, weekends and holidays
  • Spend busy nights proactively managing customers to ensure their dining experience is the best

Qualifications for Bar Manager

  • 4+ years in the Hospitality industry
  • 2+ years of leadership capacity across Food & Beverage and/or Hotel Operations
  • Current RSA Certifications
  • A history of running a profitable bar
  • Knowledge of modern POS systems
  • Current Mixologist education
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays
