We're seeking an experienced Tiler to join Commerce Building Services in Cairns. This full-time role.

You'll handle bathroom rebuilds, waterproofing, and tiling repairs across insurance and residential jobs. Great opportunity to secure long term, consistent work with a respected local builder and a supportive small team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out tiling and waterproofing works for bathroom rebuilds, repairs, and refurbishments
  • Travel to local and regional sites as required to complete jobs
  • Work closely with Site Supervisors and Project Managers to ensure quality and timelines are met
  • Liaise with clients, tenants, and trades professionally while on site
  • Accurately measure, cut, and lay tiles for walls, floors, and wet areas
  • Ensure all work meets Australian Standards and waterproofing compliance

About You:

  • Qualified Tiler (Cert III or equivalent)
  • Experience in bathroom projects, repairs, and refurbishments
  • Waterproofing certification highly regarded
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality finishes
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work unsupervised
  • Photos or examples of previous work are a big plus
