Job Description

Accelerate your success by becoming an Assistant Valuer within our highly regarded Valuation and Advisory team based in the Brisbane CBD. This is a rare opportunity for a recent property graduate to work alongside and be mentored by our experienced team of market leading specialists.

You will be exposed to and perform detailed valuations on a range of asset classes including retail, commercial and industrial, in addition to undertaking market research for use in valuations and advisory appointments.

Some of your key duties:

  • Produce quality and timely valuations reports under supervision.
  • Attend client and industry functions to interact with clients and gain market and business knowledge.
  • Assist in the preparation of quotations for valuations.
  • Update databases for valuations purposes.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Superior analytical skills
  • Currently enrolled in tertiary qualifications enabling membership to API
  • Problem solving and analytical ability to generate information that provides sound business decisions
  • Ability to deal with several matters and work to deadlines
  • Proactive and self-motivated – ability to add value to the team
  • Computer literacy, particularly with MS Excel, MS Word
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels of the business
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Drivers licence
