About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and proactive Aged Care Support Workers - Community to provide person-centered care to older adults, supporting them to maintain their independence and remain safely in their homes.

This role involves assisting with:

• Daily living activities.
• Personal care.
• Domestic tasks.
• Transport.
• Social support.

You will make a tangible difference in the lives of clients, treating them with dignity and empowering them to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Domestic Assistance: Light household tasks, meal preparation, shopping, and errands.
• Personal Care: Hygiene assistance, mobility support, and medication supervision.
• Social Support: Companionship, community activities, and reducing social isolation.
• Transport: Assisting clients with appointments and errands.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Observing and documenting client well-being and following care plans.

Skills and Experience

• Qualifications: Certificate III in Home and Community Services, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent.
• Experience: Relevant experience in aged or community care.
• Licenses: Current Driver's License and First Aid Certificate.
• Attributes: Empathy, strong communication, and a commitment to person-centered care.

Compliance Requirements

• Current Police Check.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Evidence of immunizations, including COVID-19.

Other Requirements:

• The ability to work hours across a set roster.
• A driving license and access to a car (Essential) and willingness to travel
• Right to work in Australia
• Accredited First Aid and CPR training

• Salary Packaging; this is an ATO approved employee benefit that allows you to pay for certain everyday expenses with money from your salary before tax is taken out. Can include Everyday living expenses of up to $15,900 and Meal Entertainment expenses up to $2,650.
