Workshop Supervisor

Seeking a Workshop Supervisor / Diesel Mechanic

For a growing business  based in Hume ACT

This role comes with a fully maintained  company vehicle and  mobile phone

Must Have:

• Cert 3 in automotive diesel engine technology or equivalent
• HR  Truck licence would prefer HC or MC
• White Card
• Asbestos
• Silica
• Be willing to  work under the hood as well as administrative side of role

Experience:  

• Min 5 years experience in Truck or Plant equipment preferably both.
• Basic IT skills
• Good Customer  Service Skills
• Be able to be a Team Player
• Leadership Skills

Skills knowledge & Ability :  

• Problem Solving
• Prioritizing / time management skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to change

Responsibilities:

Duties include but not limited to

• Managing staff and meeting deadlines
• Understand diagnosing issues with Trucks and Machines
• Working with team to manage the maintenance schedule
• Managing all equipment orders and raising purchase orders
• Maintaining all maintenance records
• Liaising with suppliers and sub contractors
