About us

We are currently seeking an experienced Compressor Service Technician for a full time position for a well-regarded family business based in the South Eastern suburbs.

Qualifications & experience

  • Technical experience in servicing and repairing compressed air equipment highly regarded
  • Be trade qualified. Motor mechanic highly regarded
  • Possess great customer service skills and be a good communicator
  • Possess basic computer skills
  • Hold a current drivers licence (also forklift licence highly regarded)
  • Ability to work unsupervised and listen and follow instructions
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Self-motivation and take pride in their work
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Performing service and repairs on a range of air compressors and associated compressed air equipment both on site and in-shop
  • Maintaining accurate customer records using a state of the art computerised service program
  • Identifying sales opportunities and referring to the Sales department
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy company van at all times and ensuring safety at all times
  • Interacting with customers in a professional manner
  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends when required

  • In return you will receive ongoing training, a generous remuneration, with some overtime, use of fully equipped work van and phone. Some interstate travel / overnight stays required, so relevant allowances will apply.
