Desired Qualifications:

SAIC is seeking a Facilities Engineer with expertise in electrical systems to support the mission in Alice Springs, AU.  This position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph or the ability to obtain one.

This SAIC program provides full-service facility management support to a major United States Government (USG) organization. We conduct end-to-end project management and facility engineering functions for locations throughout the world. 

The ideal candidate serves as an interface between the USG facilities management organization, design and construction contractors, Site Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contractor, local utilities, and all other customers and stakeholders on matters related to customer requirements, project prioritization, and execution. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all phases of the project life cycle to include requirements development, design, construction, and closeout.  The candidate will focus on the construction, recapitalization, and planning of electrical systems as well as other types of projects.  The candidate will:

Act as the facilities liaison, reporting to and coordinating with USG representatives at all organizational levelsOversee the Site O&M support contractor and A/E during project execution to ensure that customer requirements are accomplished on time, to the specified quality, and within budgetReview and provide comments on project proposalsPlan, monitor, coordinate, and execute complex electrical tasksDevelop and manage electrical project plans, conduct design reviews, and coordinate project approvalsDevelop status reports, project schedules, and cost estimatesSupervise, plan, and actively participate in Factory Acceptance Testing; andParticipate in root cause analysis following an electrical anomaly
