About the role

AAG Mechanical Repairs Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Dubbo, NSW. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of a variety of heavy machinery and equipment.

What you'll be doing

  • Inspecting, diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related components on earthmoving equipment and mobile crushers
  • Carrying out scheduled maintenance on a range of diesel-powered equipment
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical issues
  • Completing detailed work orders and documentation
  • Ensuring all work is performed to the highest safety and quality standards
  • Providing excellent customer service to our clients

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualifications in Diesel Mechanics or a related automotive trade
  • Extensive experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the earthmoving industry
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • A valid Driver's Licence
