About the Role
As a casual Meter Reader, you will record accurate meter reads and report any safety hazards across residential and commercial sites. Your day will consist of:
- Carrying out inspections of meters
- Communication with the billing team
- Conducting accurate meter reads
- Collating data within set timeframes
- Communicating with customers
This role is offered on a casual basis, meaning your hours of work will vary depending on business needs and the number of shifts you receive each month may vary.
What You'll Bring To The Role
With excellent presentation and communication, you:
- Are self driven and focused on meeting deadlines
- Have the ability to work autonomously
- Have a high level of accuracy
- Have initiative and integrity
- Are proactive and a problem solver
- Have a strong focus on safety
- Hold a current unrestricted Tasmanian drivers licence.
You must hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency to be considered for this role. You must be able to pass a full medical including drug and alcohol testing.
