Zero Harm Business Partner

We currently have an opportunity for a Zero Harm Business Partner.  Join our Health Safety and Environment Generalist team and play a key role in driving a culture of safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Zero Harm Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on all Zero Harm matters, providing guidance and support to leaders and employees. 

• Facilitate the development of a Zero Harm leadership culture focused on manager-led delivery of positive outcomes. 

• Support delivery and implementation of the Zero Harm Strategy, ensuring performance objectives are achieved within agreed timeframes. 

• Lead and facilitate professional, timely investigations of incidents, including complex investigations using ICAM or equivalent methodology. 

• Coach management and staff in health, safety, and environmental awareness, and support the delivery of training and risk assessments.

What You'll Bring

• Formal work health and safety qualifications (Diploma or Degree in a relevant discipline) – mandatory. 

• Trained in ICAM or equivalent investigation methodology – mandatory. 

• Strong practical experience in a Workplace Health & Safety or OHS-related role. 

• Strong skills in risk assessment, incident investigation, and WHS/OHS management system audits. 

• Ability to build relationships, influence change, and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
