About the role

Box Hill Towing is seeking Full-Time tow truck driver to join our team in Box Hill, Victoria. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient towing services to customers in the local area, ensuring their vehicles are transported securely to the appropriate destination.

The role includes working during business hours and on call (via a roster system) for after hours and weekends.

What you'll be doing

  • Respond to calls for towing assistance and arrive at the scene in a timely manner
  • Assess the vehicle and situation, and determine the appropriate towing method
  • Safely load and secure vehicles onto the tow truck, taking care to avoid any further damage
  • Transport the vehicles to the specified destination
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the towing process
  • Maintain the tow truck and related equipment in good working condition
  • Comply with all relevant road rules, regulations and safety procedures

What we're looking for

  • Valid driver's licence with a MR (Medium Rigid Licence)
  • DA Licence (We can assist with application)
  • Experience operating tow trucks and safely loading/unloading vehicles
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety and a clean driving record
