Arnhem Allied Health Centre is a one-stop health hub, gym and rehabilitation provider offering a range of services such as Physiotherapy, Pilates & Occupational Therapy. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team.

What's the role?

  • Manage a flexible caseload, including NDIS, private, and aged care clients
  • Conduct regular outreach trips to remote communities
  • Independently manage OT caseloads
  • Prescribe equipment and home modifications
  • Engage with support workers, families, and schools to support OT interventions
  • Conduct comprehensive NDIS assessments and reporting

Is this the right role for you?

  • At least two year's relevant experience
  • Undergraduate or post graduate qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Current National Police Clearance & Working with Children's check
  • Current Australian Driver's License

The role involves regular outreach trips to remote communities and collaboration with families and key stakeholders to provide client-centered care for adults and children with diverse disabilities.

The friendly community of Nhulunbuy supports a laid-back, natural lifestyle. It is a friendly and supportive community nestled amongst the white sandy beaches of the Gove Peninsula.

The tropical climate allows for plenty of opportunity for nature-based activities such as fishing, bush walking and camping, and it's modern comforts including cafés, supermarkets and restaurants while maintaining its small town charm.

NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
