The Senior Occupational Therapist position is a dynamic role that works in collaboration with allied health colleagues to create innovative, sustainable and practical strategies, both technical and behavioural.  It requires exemplary clinical skills to set a high standard of person-centred, purposeful, functional, evidence-based and relationship-based therapeutic intervention for the team, and an ability to provide high-quality supervision and mentoring.  Our expanding service locations include Mandurah, Rockingham, Bentley,  Armadale and Midland so a willingness to travel within the Perth metropolitan area is essential (pool car available) and occasionally to Geraldton and Kalgoorlie is beneficial.

  • Hourly rate between $53.89 and $69.04 depending on level of experience

Your knowledge and skills:

  • Tertiary qualification and AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Minimum 5 years' clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist, and experience providing clinical leadership or supervision to early career clinicians and/or students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to engage, advocate and influence in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Ability to think strategically, innovatively and pragmatically in finding ways to support vulnerable people in the community
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex and challenging issues by taking timely and appropriate decisions, consulting where necessary
  • National police certificate dated within 6 months, working with children check and NDIS worker check.
