**About the role

Permanent full time and part time opportunity to be responsible for delivering a confidential, efficient and accurate transcription service to support patients and clinicians across the outpatient areas of the Royal Brisbane and Women's and District Health Services. The role ensures the preparation and distribution of medical correspondence to patients, general practitioners .

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Ensure correspondence is processed, approved, and distributed within required timeframes, contributing to effective communication between patients, clinicians, and healthcare professionals.

Manage workloads effectively, demonstrating initiative, accountability, and ethical decision-making when working independently.

Engage in ongoing professional development, training, and multi-skilling opportunities to support service delivery and continuous improvement.
