Receptionist

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a receptionist you will assist with leading our team towards excellence in customer service and compliance.

• Be Responsible for the smooth operation of the accommodation and guest service functions .
• Work with passion to ensure that all guests' needs and expectations are met throughout their stay.
• Ensure that all guest enquiries and complaints, whether in person, on the telephone or via email, are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
• Deal with guest bookings, check in and check out and provide standard reports to other departments as required (i.e. arrivals / departure lists, special requests)
• Assist with the co-ordination of guest itineraries including liaising with external service providers and venues and provide guests with information on local amenities as required.
• Process settlement of guests' accounts and ensure that appropriate payment methods are adhered to

ABOUT YOU

• Certificate III in Hospitality (Operations) or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to take initiative and a practical approach to problem solving.
• Courteous and pleasant attitude towards guests and colleagues.
• Positive and flexible approach to work .
• Live closely to the working location or could drive.

AVAILABILITY

Must be available to work on Friday and Saturday.

Training will be provided at the start.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Experience:

• MS Office: 2 years (Preferred)
• Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

• Australia (Preferred)
