Zoncello Yarra Valley is an exciting new venue that celebrates the flavours of Italy with a fresh and lively dining and retail vibe. Our menu features seasonal, local produce, handmade pasta and wood-fired cooking. The drinks are fizzy, the food is loud, and the atmosphere is unapologetically fun at Zoncello.

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you'll be responsible for running your own section and ensuring high standards of preparation and service. You'll work under the guidance of the Head Chef and Sous Chef, supporting the smooth running of service and helping train junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes to specification and quality standards.
  • Manage mise en place and stock for your section.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in your area.
  • Assist with menu development and specials when required.
  • Train and support junior staff and apprentices.
  • Follow food safety and workplace health & safety standards.

About You

  • Previous experience as a CDP or strong Commis Chef ready to step up.
  • Passion for Italian food and produce
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Commitment to high standards of hygiene and safety.
