Business Analyst/Test Analyst

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role: you will switch seamlessly between BA activities and pragmatic testing to keep delivery moving and quality high. We operate at pace, support each other, and have fun while we do it.

Your typical day

• Collate and refine business requirements for mini-projects and confirm scope with stakeholders
• Analyse in-flight work to ensure all functional and edge cases are captured; identify gaps early
• Write clear test cases; collect scenarios from SMEs; run functional, integration and UAT cycles across Salesforce and payroll
• Perform data checks and pattern analysis to validate calculations and award interpretations
• Triage tickets, chase clarifications and keep the right people unblocked
• Support change: document processes, create FAQs, draft comms, and help facilitate training where needed

How you will approach problems

• Late change? Re-sequence testing, prioritise must-have coverage and escalate early to avoid delays
• Conflicting needs? Balance compliance (nursing awards), user impact and delivery timelines to land the best outcome
• Ambiguity? Turn loose ideas into concrete user stories, acceptance criteria and testable scenarios

About you

• Sharp business analysis skills - you gather requirements quickly, ask great questions and write crisp test cases
• Preferable – Salesforce and testing experience
• Bonus points for knowledge of nursing awards and payroll nuances
• Comfortable with data validation, spotting anomalies and explaining the "why" behind the numbers
• Strong communicator who keeps stakeholders aligned with timely updates and clear handovers
• Familiar with Jira and practical change management (process docs, FAQs, comms, training support
• Understanding of contract flows and how they translate to correct pay outcomes
