Mountain Creek Wholefoods is a family-owned business dedicated to providing high-quality, organic, and locally-sourced products to our community. We are currently seeking a motivated and friendly Retail Assistant to join our team, working approximately 40 hours per week. Availability on weekends is essential.

Position Summary:

The Retail Assistant is the face of our store, responsible for creating a positive shopping experience for every customer. This role requires a strong work ethic, a friendly attitude, and a genuine interest in wholefoods and sustainable products.

Key Responsibilities:


•⁠ ⁠Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.


•⁠ ⁠Process sales transactions accurately using our POS system.


•⁠ ⁠Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked store.


•⁠ ⁠Assist with receiving and merchandising new stock.


•⁠ ⁠Provide customers with information about our products, including their origin, ingredients, and health benefits.


•⁠ ⁠Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with patience and professionalism.


•⁠ ⁠Support the overall team to ensure smooth store operations.


•⁠ ⁠Be knowledgeable about our range of organic and health food products.

Skills & Qualifications:


•⁠ ⁠Previous retail or customer service experience is highly desirable.


•⁠ ⁠A strong interest in wholefoods, organic products, and a healthy lifestyle.


•⁠ ⁠Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


•⁠ ⁠Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


•⁠ ⁠Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.


•⁠ ⁠Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting boxes and standing for extended periods.
