We are seeking a part-time practice manager for our busy psychology practice. This job offers the flexibility to pivot with the needs of a growing business and allows you to implement your innovative ideas.

Working closely with the clinical director, the position is a blend of direct client care with the responsibility for the day-to-day management of the office and support functions. The desired applicant will be able to implement initiative and independence to review, restructure and develop administrative practices and systems to support workflow and improve efficiency. Duties will include a wide scope of business and practice operations, risk management, IT skills and marketing.

About the Role

As Practice Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a busy, high-performing psychology clinic. This role requires strong leadership, tech-savviness, and the ability to balance strategy with fast execution. You will be working closely with our Director to drive efficiencies, support our clinicians, and ensure we continue to deliver an exceptional client experience. You will report to the Director.

Your Key Responsibilities include:

Drive operational excellence – Oversee the daily operations of the practice, ensuring everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and in line with our high standards.

Manage a dynamic, fast-paced team – Lead, support, and develop our Client Relationship Team (CRT) and administration staff, fostering a high-performance culture.

Optimise workflows and systems – Implement and refine policies, processes, and technology to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

Monitor KPIs and performance – Track and report on key clinic metrics, ensuring diary optimisation, waitlist management, and financial targets are met.

Recruitment and onboarding – Hire, train, and support new team members to ensure they integrate seamlessly into our high-performing team.

Regulatory compliance & best practices – Keep up-to-date with Medicare, NDIS, and other funding bodies, ensuring compliance across the clinic.

Strategic planning & business growth – Work alongside the leadership team to drive new initiatives and contribute to the clinic's ongoing success.

Tech-driven solutions – Leverage technology to enhance efficiency, automate processes, and improve service delivery.

Maintain our high standards – Oversee everything from clinic cleanliness to customer service, ensuring a world-class experience for both clients and staff.

About You

  • You're highly tech-savvy and can confidently implement and optimise systems (experience with Zanda or similar is a huge plus).

Hours & Salary

30 hours per week

Salary is based on the Health Professional and Support Services Award and will reflect your experience.
