Downlands College is seeking applications from experienced qualified teachers registered with the Queensland College of Teachers for a full-time, fixed-term (12 month) position in our Junior School, commencing with the start of the 2026 academic year.

Requirements

  • A strength in developing positive and collaborative relationship with students, parents and staff
  • Qualifications to teach Primary aged students
  • Confidence in extending and enriching student learning
  • A passion for implementation of a differentiated and engaging curriculum
  • Capacity and/or willingness to teach Religious Education
  • A desire for Professional Learning and continual growth
  • Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the College
  • Understanding of the AITSL Professional Standards and their relevance to effective teaching and learning.

Salary

$86, 600 - $124, 724 (FTE) plus super
