Your key responsibilities will include:

• Provide a warm, friendly greeting to clients and create a welcoming salon atmosphere.
• Keep the workstation neat, sanitized, and properly organized at all times.
• Conduct thorough consultations to identify each client's style goals, hair condition, and preferences.
• Perform a full range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, perming, straightening, washing, and styling.
• Advise clients on suitable hair treatments and recommend quality products for ongoing care.
• Confidently use professional styling equipment — such as blow dryers, curling tools, straighteners, rollers, and combs — to achieve desired looks.
• Ensure all tools and salon equipment are cleaned and disinfected in accordance with workplace health and safety protocols.
• Coordinate client bookings and handle payment transactions efficiently when required.
• Provide training, supervision, and support to junior stylists to uphold high service standards across the team.

Skills and Requirements:

• Certificate III in Hairdressing is required.
• Minimum of 1 year's experience as a professional hairdresser.
• Previous experience in training or mentoring junior staff is highly desirable.
• Passionate about providing high-quality service and achieving client satisfaction.
• Positive, enthusiastic, and confident across all aspects of hairdressing.
• Committed to personal and professional development, and supporting team growth.
• Strong ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
