About the role

The primary purpose of the Digital Marketing, Events & Social Media Coordinator role is to support our sales team through the creation and implementation of high-quality content across various social and digital platforms, including our website. This role is integral to enhancing our online presence, engaging with our audience, and driving lead generation efforts. The Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for researching, ideating, pre-producing, producing, post-producing, and implementing engaging content that aligns with our brand and marketing strategies as well as the coordination of events. By effectively managing and executing content campaigns, this position will contribute to increasing brand awareness, fostering customer relationships, and supporting the overall sales and marketing objectives of 9X5 & Education360.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Research and develop content ideas that align with marketing and sales goals.
  • Write, edit, and produce engaging content for various digital platforms, including blog posts, articles, social media updates, and website copy.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and manage the online community.
  • Create visually appealing graphics, videos, and other multimedia content using design software and tools.
  • Coordinate the production process from pre-production through post-production, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Optimise website content for search engines to improve visibility and organic traffic.
  • Manage website updates, ensuring content is current, relevant, and engaging.
  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including email marketing, social media, and PPC advertising.
  • Track and analyse campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to improve results.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital marketing efforts, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Use analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of content and campaigns, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the sales team to align content strategies with sales objectives and lead generation goals.
  • Provide support for sales initiatives through targeted content and promotional materials.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing and social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Implement new strategies and technologies to enhance the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts.

Skills & Experience

Work Experience:

  • Experience in content conception, and understanding where the content will fit within the brand objectives for both 9X5 & Education360.
  • Experience in photography and videography and post-production for the digital and social space.
  • Design execution for social and digital outputs.
  • Methodical organisational processes, from file-naming to content mapping
  • Proven work-experience, and working with a highly functioning sales team.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and proactively.
  • Understanding of the structure and flow of a digital and social platform, WordPress website and how they relate to consumer behaviour and changing trends.
  • Understanding or familiarity of posting ads in LinkedIn, Meta and Google Ad platforms.
  • Experience in the Adobe Suite, namely, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
  • Familiar with internal messaging tools, such as Microsoft Teams & Zoho (Social, Campaigns).
  • Expertise in multiple platforms namely Meta, Google and LinkedIn

Skills:

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, SEO tools, social media management software, and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong graphic design skills with experience using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product and development/IT teams.
  • Ability to analyse data and metrics to assess the performance of digital marketing campaigns and content.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions to optimise marketing strategies.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
