About Your Opportunity
Reporting to our Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the successful planning and execution of infrastructure upgrades, refurbishments and
builds across water supply and treatment facilities. This role involves leading projects to enhance the performance, efficiency, and compliance of existing assets, including treatment plants, pipelines, and distribution systems. You will ensure asset improvement works are delivered safely, within scope, on time, and on budget, while coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver water infrastructure projects using sound project management practices and Seqwater frameworks.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure alignment with operational and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure delivery meets technical, safety, and environmental standards.
- Engage stakeholders and manage contractor performance to achieve project outcomes on time and within budget.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience managing complex capital projects in water, infrastructure, or similar sectors across the full lifecycle.
- Strong contract administration skills covering documentation, performance, approvals, budgets, and compliance.
- Ability to manage projects in live operational environments with minimal service disruption.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, with strong communication and leadership capabilities
This position has a salary range of $122,730 – 133,528 (dependent on experience) plus 12.75% superannuation.
