About the role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Lawyer to join the team at Alex Mandry Legal Group in Maroochydore, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality legal services to clients navigating family law matters.

What you'll be doing

  • Advising clients on a wide range of family law issues, including divorce, child custody, property settlements, and maintenance
  • Negotiating and drafting settlement agreements, parenting plans, and other legal documents
  • Representing clients in court proceedings, including appearances in the Federal Circuit and Family Court
  • Conducting legal research and analysis to support the preparation of strong cases
  • Maintaining a high level of client communication and providing compassionate support throughout the legal process
  • Collaborating with other legal professionals and experts to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients

What we're looking for

  • Admission as a solicitor in Queensland and a valid practising certificate
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in family law, with a proven track record of successful client outcomes
  • Strong negotiation, advocacy, and client-facing skills
  • Excellent legal research and writing abilities
  • A commitment to providing empathetic and client-centred legal services
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
