ASCN MAS (Macarthur Accommodation System) is a long-standing community organisation dedicated to supporting adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities across the Macarthur region. We provide residential homes, drop-in support, and case management services that enhance independence, well-being, and social inclusion.
We are seeking passionate and committed
Board Members
to join our voluntary Management Committee and help guide the future direction of our organisation.
About the Role
As a Board Member, you will:
- Contribute to the governance and strategic leadership of the organisation.
- Ensure services are delivered in line with our mission, values, and NDIS compliance requirements.
- Provide oversight of financial sustainability, risk management, and policy development.
- Act as an ambassador for ASCN MAS within the community, promoting our work and values.
- Attend regular board meetings (held in Campbelltown) and participate in sub-committees where required.
What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals with experience in:
- Governance, compliance, or not-for-profit leadership
- Finance, accounting, or audit (Treasurer/financial skills are highly valued)
- Disability, community, or health services
- Legal, HR, marketing, or fundraising
Most importantly, we seek people with:
- Integrity, strong judgment, and a collaborative spirit
- A genuine commitment to improving the lives of people with disabilities
- Capacity to commit several hours per month to board activities
