Job Description
About the Role
As a member of the Corporate Services, the position's will be responsible for assisting with a range of operational and administrative service functions across Learning and Development and Project Services. The role is required to demonstrate the core knowledge, skills and abilities expressed as behaviours in the Workforce Development and Capability Framework.
Duties
- Participate in work placements rotating across the Learning & Devlopment and Projects Service teams (6 months each).
- Comply with responsibilities relating to the terms of the Training Contract as a Trainee (training attendance and attainment of competencies).
- Support end to end administrative process across L&D and Projects team.
- Prepare a range of documents including reports, correspondence, forms and flyers etc.
- Administer learning management system and project hub systems and tools.
- Create files and maintain electronic records.
- Track project progress and update documentation accordingly.
- Support related projects and activities to improve service delivery in line with operational objectives and strategy.
- Provide customer-focused services in line with team and organisational objectives.

- Salary of $45,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation.

Desired Skills And Experience
Required
- Eligible to be registered as a Trainee under the QLD Government Apprenticeship and Traineeship Scheme.
- Sufficient language, literacy, and numeracy skills to complete the required online course work for Certificate III in Business Administration.
- Self-motivation and willingness to take responsibility for own development and learning needs.
- Ability to provide courteous and friendly customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft suite of programs.
- Ability to plan, organise, set work priorities and manage time.
- Written skills and the ability to prepare instructional materials, resources and reports.
Preferred
- Completed Year 12 or hold the Higher School Certificate or equivalent.
Additional Requirements
- National Police Check.
- Current Working with Children Card (Blue Card) or be eligible to apply.
- Evidence of Work Rights.
- Travel between work sites on a regular basis.
