About The Opportunity
What You'll Be Doing
  • all stages of planning, implementation, evaluation, reporting and ongoing management and sustainability of culturally responsive programs to improve health outcomes and address health inequities for Aboriginal communities in south western Sydney.
  • addressing key focus areas including but not limited to promoting healthy weight, reducing smoking and vaping related harm, reducing rates of preventable chronic disease and strengthening protective factors for mental health in Aboriginal communities.
  • coordination of the Aboriginal Programs portfolio and workforce
Where You'll Be Working
How to Apply
  • Tertiary Qualifications in health or related field and experience in providing leadership in population focused health promotion
  • Provide an example of a time you have collaborated with Aboriginal communities and/or Aboriginal organisations to deliver a culturally responsive health service or program.
  • Detail your management experience and how you have navigated the challenges of leading teams with diverse skill sets.
  • Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
